The 2009 International Medical Device Industry Compliance, Regulatory and Intellectual Property Conference, held May 25-26 in Rome, Italy, brought together industry leaders for nearly three days of presentations, panel discussions and common challenges. 

Two enlightening panels showcased the unique insights of CEOs and CCOs grappling with the issues that affect all medical device companies, from shifting regulatory pressures to supply chain management, counterfeiting and training across multiple cultures.

Course on AdvaMed Code of Ethics Now Available

AdvaMed and Kaplan EduNeering have launched the first AdvaMed-approved training course for AdvaMed's Code of Ethics in Interactions with Health Care Professionals (the Code).

The Code sets out the principles guiding Medical Device Companies (Companies), both AdvaMed members and nonmembers, in facilitating ethical interactions between Companies and Health Care Professionals in order to ensure that medical decisions are based on the best interests of the patient.
